After learning how Kailash Satyarthi has rescued thousands of children from labor in the film, The Price of Free, I understand that this is a complicated issue. There are, however, specific steps that companies like yours can take to ensure child labor is not used in the creation of the goods you sell. Specifically, I would like to know: – How do you know if your supply chains are child labor-free? – If your suppliers are found to use child labor, what specific policies do you have to address it? – How do you educate your employees about child labor, and what tools do they have to call attention to possible instances of it?
